Once upon a time, there lived a girl named Rose and her parents Gabriel Junior and Ruby. Rose, learned from her mother to like beautiful gardens.
One day, she discovered a game on the computer called Gardenscapes. Her younger brother Geoffrey also discovered it. She learned it has many levels, and also that after every few levels you'll get to restore different parts of a dirty garden.
At the beginning, the levels were easy, and she never had to worry about losing. She restored an area she called Area Alpha. It had a house that serves as where she sleeps after hours of restoring.
She had many areas to restore, and for each area she has to complete a few levels to complete a task because each level gives her one star, but tasks can cost anywhere from 1 to 4 stars.
Rose usually plays the game up to 10 times a day. In late evenings, she has conversations about the game with Bethany, who is the daughter of her mother's best friend Gabriella. These talks are often about how good of a job she restores the areas.
For hundreds of levels, Rose tries her best to succeed. She restores areas she names after Greek letters. Area Alpha is the house and its immediate yard outside. Area Beta is a playground for a dog named Canis. Areas Gamma and Delta both have beautiful fountains. Area Epsilon has a castle-shaped structure made of plant leaves. Area Digamma has a statue of a person with a telescope in the middle, and around it are doors made of leaves. Area Zeta is mostly water, only with a gazebo in it and 2 paths that connect it to areas Digamma and Eta. Area Eta has a waterfall that can be looked at for pleasure. Area Theta is Japanese. Area Iota has a stable for a horse. Area Kappa is a picnic area. Area Lambda is big, and one of the most notable parts of it is its beautiful waterfall.
Rose was able to restore the beauty of the garden's Area Lambda after finishing 2,738 levels. She started with Area Mu and for a little while, she was happy, waiting to hear she will be finished eventually. But after finishing only 52 levels since then, she got 3 new tasks, and one of them costed 5 stars. Rose stopped playing the game for this reason; she thinks 4 is enough. But she was glad she succeeded with 2,790 levels in all and restored many areas, she talked about how good of a job she did with Bethany.
Geoffrey also played the game. But he continued after level 2790, and whenever he had a task that costed 5 stars he did whatever he could to make sure his wait to get 5 stars was not as boring as Rose would guess. He really wished Rose could play so far as well.
But Rose got very unhappy. She never thought there was a reason to make it past a point where she gets a new task that costs 5 stars, because she thinks 4 is enough. But Geoffrey was not impressed.
After a few days (Geoffrey's level is about 3200 at this time,) Geoffrey finished Area Mu and started a new area called Area Vega. This made Rose even more unhappy, because she would have called it Area Nu. Geoffrey said, "When the garden was first constructed in the early 1970's, it was called Area Nu, but in 1994 it was renamed Area Vega."
Rose and Bethany were talking about how beautiful Ruby's garden was during her own childhood (that is, before Rose was born.) Rose, just like Ruby and Little Red Riding Hood, loves beautiful gardens, and always tries to keep them as nice as they can be. There were 3 generations of best friends who were young at heart; these area Goldilocks and Little Red Riding Hood, Gabriella and Ruby, and Bethany and Rose.
Geoffrey and Rudy Junior were talking about how much they love the name Vega. They both love the name Vega a lot.
